Talus
Meetings, minutes and follow-ups for the body of elders.
For iPhone, iPad and Mac · on TestFlight
Talus is an organiser for the coordinator of a body of elders. Plan the agenda, send it as a PDF, and hand a file to the brother taking notes. When his notes come back, review them, finalise the minutes and flag who will do what by when. Today shows what needs you this week, and Follow-ups keeps every open item in one place until it is done.
From agenda to minutes
- Build an agenda from points and templates, each with a theme, a scripture, the brother leading it and a time. Start times work themselves out.
- A meeting card shows each step, from the agenda PDF to the minutes PDF, and what comes next.
- A timer for the night shows the current point, the time left and what is next.
- Points that aren’t ready wait in Later, ready to add to a future agenda.
- Announcements are scheduled for the midweek meeting and marked as read or skipped. Letters, for correspondence and resolutions, can be turned on in Settings.
Private by design
- No account and no servers of ours. Your records sync between your devices through your own iCloud.
- Agendas and notes travel as
.talusfiles that you send yourself, and can be sealed with a passcode. - The notetaker’s device keeps only the meetings sent to it, and clears them a week after the meeting.
- A notetaker without an Apple device can use notes.talus.mov, which runs in the browser and sends nothing to a server.
- Lock Talus with Face ID or Touch ID.
