Write to hello@pronghornlabs.net. Say which devices you are playing on and what you were doing, and a person will answer. Ideas for new scenarios are welcome too.
Common questions
Nobody can find my game.
Everyone needs to be in the same room with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth turned on. The first time you play, MOC asks to find devices on your local network; if someone said no, open Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network and turn on MOC. Then the host taps Host a Game, and everyone else taps Join a Game and chooses the host’s name.
How do I play on an Apple TV?
Open MOC on the Apple TV. On each phone, tap Play Together, then Join a Game, and choose the Apple TV by its name. The phones must be on the same Wi-Fi as the Apple TV. The TV doesn’t take a seat; it shows the table, and the phones are the players.
Do we need the internet or an account?
No. The game runs between your devices in the room. You only need the internet to read a scripture on jw.org when JW Library isn’t installed.
Which cards are used when we play together?
The host’s. The packs switched on and any cards the host has added go to every player for that game. On an Apple TV, you choose the packs on the TV.
I left the game to read a verse. Did I lose my seat?
No. Your seat is kept while you are away, and MOC rejoins by itself when you come back.
How do I share cards I’ve written?
In Card Deck, tap the options button and choose Export Deck. Send the file by AirDrop, Messages or Files. Opening it on another device, or choosing Import Cards, adds the new cards. Built-in cards can’t be edited.
A scripture opens on jw.org instead of JW Library.
That happens when JW Library isn’t installed. Install it, and references open there in the Bible you have set up.
